How to make a donut pet bed?
I'm looking for a simple sewing pattern or a general idea of what parts to cut.
Newspaper just made use of a pattern. cut an oval the size you want your background is. cut two pieces up and down and put cotton batting in the middle. Sew edge of all the layers. measured around the outer edge of stitching oval. that number + 4 "and about 8-12 cm wide, depending on the size you want the ring donut. Sewing wrong side, leaving an edge length longer than the other. stuf with fiberfill to desired firmness. to unite together, stitch short edge along the seam tube the bottom oval on the same seam. then folding and tucking long over the seams and hand finished. will have to end the union of the two extremes hand tube well. make sure you have a good machine heavy duty sewing and carpet thread and needle use. good luck.
